What cause is particularly important for you?
Empowering women is particularly important to me. It is disappointing to see that sexism and misogyny still exist everywhere, even in the most forward-thinking countries, and even in the minds of women. Women are just as strong as men—maybe even stronger—both physically and mentally. Women need to realize and firmly believe in their own power, take up space, raise their voices, put themselves first, make their own money, and spend that money on themselves.
When are you the most inspired?
I’m always most inspired when traveling. Exploring different cultures, learning their history, and seeing different ways of life always leave me feeling creative and open-minded.
What makes you smile the most?
Seeing my loved ones! They’re incredibly important to me and always makes me smile.
What would you say is making you feel positive these days?
It’s always exciting to see more diversity in social media and in business. It’s been great to see so many independent businesses emerge led by people of color.
How would you describe your artistic style?
Minimalist, feminine, and sophisticated.
