DOORS NYC was part of this effort. In September 2022, DOORS presented the BLUE SKY pop-up in SoHo, New York, bringing together 25 Ukrainian fashion brands and artists and providing a platform for Ukrainian creativity during an exceptionally difficult period.

More than four years after the full-scale invasion began, the continued presence of Ukrainian designers internationally should not be understood solely through the language of support.

Their work deserves attention because of its design value.

The ability of Ukrainian fashion businesses to continue creating, producing, exporting, and developing brands under these circumstances has nevertheless become an important part of the contemporary history of the country's fashion industry.
