Young New York and Paris Designers on DOORS
Kicking off the season in style, September began with New York Fashion Week 2023 and will close in the French capital. Explore our picks of DOORS NYC’s transatlantic labels from NYC to Paris.
PH5 | NYC
Wei Lin, founder of experimental knitwear label PH5, grew up in a family of a large textiles manufacturer which informs her eye for process and innovation. Marrying fashion and technology, she puts an unconventional twist on color-blocking sweaters, dresses and cardigans — reworked with distorted patterns and asymmetric hems. Shop PH5 here.
Y/PROJECT | Paris
Y/PROJECT’s founder and Royal Academy of Antwerp graduate Glenn Martens explores Postmodernism by pushing the boundaries of design, subverting sweaters and denim jackets with cutouts and sculptural wire inserts. An eclectic fusion of avante-garde streetwear and wardrobe staples for all genders. Shop Y/PROJECT here.
PRIVATE POLICY | NYC
Runway regular PRIVATE POLICY centers its collections around social topics and this season’s pieces pave the way for New York Fashion Week street style in 2023 and beyond. Sporty staples, such as tank tops, hoodies and cargo pants feature signature cutouts and harness straps, permeated with Y2K energy.

MARINE HENRION | Paris
Looking to significant style decades of the past, sustainable designer MARINE HENRION fuses the ‘60s Space Age era with ‘90s minimalism, and the result is futuristic fashion punctuated by clean lines and muted palettes. Each collection is made in small quantities in French family-run factories using eco-conscious materials. Shop MARINE HENRION here.
