MAESE PLACE is a Spanish accessories brand founded by Madrid-born Teresa Fernández Ramos, celebrating the country's artisanal heritage through a distinctly contemporary lens. Named after maese, an old Spanish term for a master artisan, the label reflects Fernández Ramos's fascination with craftsmanship, shaped by early exposure to artists and workshops and later by Parisian savoir-faire.

Produced in Ubrique, Cádiz — Spain's historic centre of leather craftsmanship — MAESE PLACE bags are made by local artisans using high-quality cowhide and Spanish-sourced components. Collections including Roda and Tablao pair sculptural, geometric silhouettes with reversible details, expressive finishes and references to painting, flamenco and Spanish culture.
