      NART is a sustainable jewelry brand that transforms natural materials into contemporary statement pieces, celebrating Brazilian craftsmanship and the beauty of organic forms. Founded by a former dentist whose passion for artisanal jewelry began during a visit to Brazil, the brand bridges traditional techniques with modern design, creating distinctive accessories rooted in nature and cultural heritage.

      At the heart of NART's collections are buriti palm and banana fibers, responsibly sourced and handcrafted by artisans in small Brazilian communities. These natural materials are combined with gold-plated details, sterling silver, gemstones, and wood to create lightweight necklaces, sculptural earrings, and textured bracelets. Signature designs feature intricate fiber weaving, layered silhouettes, and unexpected contrasts between raw textures and polished finishes.

      With a commitment to preserving traditional craftsmanship and supporting local artisans, NART offers a thoughtful alternative to conventional accessories.       How important is sustainability in your designs?
      Sustainability is the foundation of my brand. Everything began with inspiration from nature, using materials that nature provides in abundance while supporting the livelihoods of countless families in Northern and Northeastern Brazil. Nature is the heart of our inspiration, and our deep respect for it—along with our commitment to sustainability—forms the core pillars of our brand.

      What's the most sustainable material you've ever used in a design?
      The buriti fiber and the banana fiber are the most sustainable materials we could work with. Because these fibers are naturally abundant and responsibly harvested, their use does not harm the environment while providing a sustainable source of income for many families.

      What's next for you in your fashion design career?
      The next step in my journey is to expand into fine jewelry, working with gold and silver while continuing to draw inspiration from the traces, textures, and organic forms of nature.

      How do you balance creativity with wearability in your designs?
      I believe beautiful jewelry should feel as effortless as it looks. At Nart Nature Making Art, I balance creativity with wearability by designing pieces that are remarkably lightweight, comfortable, and easy to wear while celebrating the beauty of natural materials.

      How do you stay inspired?
      I stay inspired by following fashion trends while constantly observing the details found in nature—its textures, shapes, and organic forms. I'm always exploring how these natural elements can be reinterpreted through gold, silver, buriti, and banana fibers to create elegant, timeless jewelry. I also think about how each piece will complement different styles and wardrobes, ensuring my designs are versatile.
