"I travel, spend time in nature or museums, and paint — and then, images of clothing begin to form in my mind, ready to be sketched."

Marine Guillon, DIVINE HARMONIE
MINI INTERVIEW

What's your design philosophy?

Everything is energy — clothing is no exception.

Who are your design influences?

Japanese, future, spirituality, nature.

What's your process for designing a new collection?

I travel, spend time in nature or museums, and paint — and then, images of clothing begin to form in my mind, ready to be sketched.

How do you choose colors for your designs?

I choose colors based on feeling, energy, and how they appear on different materials—because each fabric can completely change how a color looks and feels.

What's your favorite color to work with?

Turquoise as the sea, the infinite world.

What's your least favorite color to work with?

Black — I feel it carries negative energy and low vibrations, so I tend to avoid working with it.

What's your favorite fashion decade?

I'm inspired by the 19th century — its shapes, colors, intricate details, the pursuit of perfection, and its dedication to art.

What's your favorite fashion city?

Paris, definitely.

How important is sustainability in your designs?

It’s indispensable for me to use only natural fabrics and produce in small quantities, locally in France or Portugal. I want to respect both the planet and humanity.

What's your favorite fashion show you've ever attended?

Chloé in 2019.

How do you stay inspired?

Step outside and make time to do nothing—it's essential for creativity.

What's your favorite fashion magazine?

Vogue.

What's your favorite fashion book?

Monsieur Dior.

What's your favorite fashion exhibition you've ever seen?

Dolce & Gabana Du Coeur à la Main.

How do you see the future of fashion?

Durable fashion, comfortable and elegant.
