      NEIGHTIV is a London-based accessories brand reimagining equestrian heritage through a contemporary luxury lens. Founded by Pannaga Bharadwaj, who studied Fashion Design and Marketing at Istituto Marangoni London, the brand was born from a deeply personal connection with horses and an appreciation for the quiet balance between strength and grace.

      Inspired by the rhythm, movement, and craftsmanship of the equestrian world, NEIGHTIV transforms these narratives into refined silk accessories and elevated everyday essentials. Designed in London, the collections feature premium silk scarves, twillies, ties, pocket squares, and a growing range of vegan leather accessories, distinguished by painterly motifs, sophisticated color palettes, and meticulous detailing.

      Signature collections celebrate the enduring dialogue between horse and rider, translating moments of freedom and elegance into timeless design. Retail prices range from approximately $40 to $200 USD, positioning the brand within the accessible luxury market. NEIGHTIV offers a modern perspective on equestrian style, creating collectible accessories for discerning clients who value craftsmanship, storytelling, and understated sophistication.

      How did you become interested in fashion design?
      Coming from a Defence family background in India, I spent my childhood moving across different parts of the country. Experiencing India's rich heritage of textiles, craftsmanship, and regional artistry sparked a deep appreciation for design and inspired me to explore the world of fashion from an early age. Alongside this, my lifelong passion for horses and the deep bond I developed with horses became a constant source of creative inspiration, eventually leading me to study fashion design at Istituto Marangoni, School of Fashion, London and design collections that celebrate the elegance, spirit, and stories of the equestrian world.

      Who are your design influences?
      Without a doubt, my greatest source of inspiration is my horse. I see her every day, and I continue to find her endlessly inspiring. Simply spending time with her and existing alongside nature has a profound influence on the way I design.

      What do you think are the most important skills for a fashion designer?
      Finding your niche, and eventually understanding your production cycles!

      What's the most challenging aspect of being a fashion designer?
      One of the biggest challenges is finding a constant source of inspiration while designing within a focused niche. While creativity often comes naturally to me, consistently staying inspired and, more importantly, translating those ideas into reality is a completely different process. It's surprising how many stages exist between the initial spark of an idea and the final product - from research and concept development to design refinement, sampling, production, and launch.

      How do you handle criticism of your designs?
      I mostly see criticism as valuable feedback. More often than not, it provides an opportunity to improve and refine my designs. Constructive comments challenge me to look at my work from a different perspective and push me to create something even better. I also believe that learning how to receive and respond to criticism is an essential part of every designer's journey. It encourages growth, resilience, and continuous evolution as a creative.

      What's your favorite material to work with?
      Silk, without a doubt. I absolutely adore working with it. It's an incredibly versatile fabric, yet it behaves so differently depending on how it's used.

      How do you choose colors for your designs?
      It's one of my favourite parts of the design process. I often build my colour palettes from photographs I've taken while spending time with my horse, whether we're at the stables or out on a ride. Many of the pink tones featured throughout my collections are from the skies at sunrise, as my horse and I begin our rides together. Additionally, I also sometimes choose colors that come from Traditional Indian textiles.

      What's your favorite color to work with?
      Shades of Brown, Pink and Blue.
