Whats your design philosophy?
My design philosophy is rooted in eco-friendly values and a deep appreciation for local craftsmanship. I create designs that feel grounded and organic, blending earthy textures and a natural color palette with a contemporary, bohemian ethos. Inspired by nature and culture, I embrace slow, handcrafted processes that celebrate sustainability and thoughtful self-expression.

What’s your favorite material to work with?
My favorite material to work with is definitely raffia, especially for resort wear. It’s natural, underutilized, and incredibly versatile. Every time I work with it, I discover new techniques and creative ways to showcase its unique texture and charm.

What’s your favorite color to work with?
When designing for Rebirth, natural tones like beige, gray, olive green, and off-white are always at the top of my list. These grounded hues embody a timeless and harmonious palette that sparks my creativity and reflects the beauty of nature. They exude a sense of calm and balance while offering endless versatility to explore textures and forms, enabling me to create pieces that feel deeply organic, authentic, and uniquely Rebirth.

What’s your favorite season to design for?
My favorite season to design for is definitely resort wear. It truly embodies the essence of Rebirth, offering an opportunity to explore airy, natural materials and create pieces that reflect freedom, individuality, and a deep connection to nature. Resort wear allows for designs that are both versatile and rooted in craftsmanship, resonating with those who seek meaningful, statement pieces for their journeys.

Whats your favorite fashion decade?
My favorite fashion decade would have to be the 1970s. It was a time of bold experimentation, selfexpression, and a perfect blend of cultural influences that defined bohemian and chic aesthetics. The bohemian aesthetic aligned with the hippie movement of the 1960s but evolved in the '70s to include more polished, chic elements. The era's focus on natural textures, earthy tones, and freespirited silhouettes resonates deeply with Rebirth’s ethos, making it a constant source of inspiration for my designs.
