What’s your favorite thing about being a fashion designer?
My favourite thing about being a fashion designer is being able to transform emotions, stories, and cultural heritage into something wearable. Fashion is more than clothing to me, it is storytelling, self-expression, and empowerment. I love creating pieces that allow women to feel confident, seen, and connected to something meaningful.
What’s your design philosophy?
My design philosophy is rooted in storytelling, intentionality, and slow fashion. Every piece at a.nty story is thoughtfully designed to hold meaning, celebrate femininity, and honour individuality. I believe fashion should transcend trends and instead become timeless, wearable art that carries emotional connection and purpose.
Who are your design influences?
My influences come from art, cultural heritage, strong women, travel, and storytelling. I am deeply inspired by feminine resilience, historical symbolism, and nature. I also admire designers who balance creativity with craftsmanship and authenticity, creating collections with a strong point of view and emotional depth.
What’s your process for designing a new collection?
Every collection begins with a story. I immerse myself in research, emotions, symbolism, and visual references before translating the narrative into hand illustrations, prints, and silhouettes. I carefully consider fabric, colour, and movement to ensure every piece feels cohesive and aligned with the story being told. Each collection is intentionally designed to feel timeless and emotionally connected.
What’s the most challenging aspect of being a fashion designer?
One of the most challenging aspects is balancing creativity with business while staying true to your vision. In an industry driven by speed and trends, maintaining authenticity, sustainability, and thoughtful production takes patience and resilience. But I believe meaningful design is always worth the journey.
