How did you become interested in fashion design?
My interest in fashion came from seeing clothing as a form of identity and confidence rather than just style. I was always drawn to how accessories, especially hats, could completely change how someone carries themselves. God Given Talent was born from that idea that everyone has a talent and what you wear can help you own it. Fashion became my way of turning that belief into something tangible.
What is your design philosophy?
At God Given Talent, the philosophy is purpose led luxury. Every piece should feel intentional, empowering, and well crafted. I believe design should elevate the person wearing it rather than overpower them. That is why our hats are clean, refined, and symbolic. They are designed to be worn with confidence, not trend dependency.
Who are your design influences?
My influences come from culture rather than catwalks. Sport, music, entrepreneurship, and people who have mastered their craft inspire the brand more than seasonal trends. I am also influenced by London’s diversity and New York’s confidence, two cities that strongly shape how God Given Talent thinks and moves.
What is the most important accessory in a wardrobe?
Without question, a hat. It is the final statement. It frames the face, completes an outfit, and communicates confidence instantly. That belief sits at the heart of God Given Talent. A great hat is not just worn, it is owned. That is why we say Crown Your Talent.
What is next for you in your fashion design career?
The next phase for God Given Talent is about global positioning and depth rather than just growth. That means expanding into carefully selected international retailers, strengthening our presence in cities like New York and London, and continuing to collaborate with cultural leaders in sport and creativity. The goal is to build God Given Talent into a globally recognised luxury accessories brand that stands for belief, craftsmanship, and purpose.
