ANNA HOPFENSBERGER

Anna Hopfensberger, originally from Munich, Germany, transitioned from working as an engineer for BMW Group to pursuing an MFA at the New York Academy of Art. With a background in freelance art and formal training at the Art Academy in Kolbermoor, Bavaria, she has exhibited globally, including at the MIIT Museum in Turin and the Frauenmuseum in Bonn, and has been featured in British Vogue and Tatler Magazine.

Now based in New York, she focuses on narrative figuration that explores everyday human behavior and societal themes, using a colorful palette and recurring female figures to tell expository stories.
