NATALE ADGNOT

American-French artist Natale Adgnot blurs the line between drawing and sculpture. Alternating between grayscale and colorful palettes, she converts line drawings into wall sculptures by mounting thermoplastic shapes on birch panels. Adgnot earned a BFA in Texas and studied fashion in Paris. Following stints at Chanel and Felipe Oliveira Baptista in France, she taught for the fashion programs at FIT and AAU. Her experience hand-making garments and accessories for haute couture runways eventually led her to focus on sculpture. Adgnot has had solo exhibitions in Tokyo and New York. Her works are held in numerous private collections around the world.
