The Florence dress by Silk & Bears has the manners of a vintage gown and the ease of a modern one. Cut from black silk velvet with nearly twice the silk of most velvets (30% mulberry silk), it has soft gathered puff sleeves, a flattering V neckline and a body fitted neatly to a full maxi length. At the hip, a posy of pink wild roses, soft-blue forget-me-nots, green leaves and a single coral bud is embroidered entirely by hand, placed like a corsage pinned just so.
