Named for ripened wheat against a dark field, the Golden Harvest dress by Silk & Bears carries a single golden sheaf on the deepest black silk velvet. It is cut in a softer, more relaxed line than a slip dress: a graceful V neckline front and back, short kimono sleeves that fall in soft folds, and a gently shaped body that drops to a full maxi length with a fine back slit. At one hip, a wheat sheaf is embroidered entirely by hand in warm gold and antique-bronze thread, catching the light the way real grain does at the end of the day.
