Guvanch Agajumayev is creative director and freelance fashion stylist based in New York City. He was born in Turkmenistan, an ex-Soviet territory in Central Asia, where suppression of self-expression goes beyond narrow social norms and legal system criminalizes those who stray outside the status-quo. At 19, Guvanch moved to New York to pursue his fashion dreams. Today, Guvanch makes waves with his gender-fluid fashion label.
