MINI INTERVIEW

What's your favorite thing about being a fashion designer?
Fashion is an art that reveals beauty through creativity, nature’s philosophy, and limitless design. It is a language of self-expression that shapes perspectives and transforms our experience of the world.

Who are your design influences?
Born and brought up in India among a family of artists, my work blends Eastern aesthetics with global influences such as Vivienne Westwood, Haider Ackermann, Andy Warhol, and Pablo Picasso.

What's the most important thing you've learned about fashion design?
Fashion design is not just about creating innovative designs and concepts; it’s about working within the framework of customer needs and expectations, both present and future.

What's your favorite fashion city?
New York City: A vibrant palette that gives rise to some of the most innovative styles.

How important is sustainability in your designs?
Sustainability is at the core of my designs—not just as a trend, but as a responsibility. With climate change shaping our future, I believe fashion must embrace eco-conscious practices, from ethical sourcing and waste management to social empowerment and personal well-being.
