Concept comes first—it sets the foundation for everything else. I always seek to work on themes connected to my emotional world. Creating fashion for me is a way for catharsis.

What's the most expensive material you've ever used in a design?
Rare Italian leather and natural silks.

How do you handle creative block?
I usually take a break and do something unrelated.

How do you balance creativity with wearability in your designs?
By focusing on the client and their needs. Having that boundary clear allows me to ground even the most experimental designs.

How important is collaboration in fashion design?
It’s everything. Fashion, like film, is a team sport.
