What's your design philosophy?
We design jewelry that makes you feel HAPPY. Your jewelry should be an extension of yourself and when you find the right pair of earrings, it’s an instant confidence boost!
How do you choose colors for your designs?
Each season we take inspiration from red carpet events, and New York Fashion Week. The Pantone color forecast is key for new colors that we add to our collections. We also take input from our customers – if they want a dark, denim blue instead of vibrant denim blue, 9/10 times we will make it! So, sometimes you’ll see we have 4+ variants of one color.
What's your favorite season to design for?
SUMMER! Our colorful jewelry is made for Spring and Summer. There is something about the sunshine, warm weather and eating alfresco that just screams for color and pops of gold. Sometimes it is just too hot for accessories, which is why we create light weight designs that won’t wear you down. Wear your hair up, and show off your hoops!
How important is sustainability in your designs?
Sustainability is huge factor for us. We only work with sustainable and socially conscious artisans. Our jewelry is made in small batches so that we reduce overstock, waste and all our metals are recycled. Fair trade, fair wages and certified green are always at the forefront.
How do you balance creativity with wearability in your designs?
We love the classics. Even when our colors are bright, we add luxe details that make them suitable for any occasion. We also have multiple sizes so our customers can get the most wear out of the designs they love.
How do you handle creative block?
This actually happens quite often. Luckily, we are able to bounce ideas off each other and our family members. We will literally send dozens of texts to the sister group chat to get opinions on a concept, and if they could see themselves wearing it, or gifting it to someone they know. Having this strong unit makes the creative block a bit less daunting.
