How did you become interested in fashion design?
Fashion has always been my canvas for self-expression. From a young age, I was captivated by how clothing tells stories and reflects individuality. Studying fashion in Mumbai and Milan refined my passion, blending artistry with elegance—a journey that led me to create L'MANE.
What’s your favorite thing about being a fashion designer?
I love turning emotions and ideas into wearable art. Watching a vision unfold—from inspiration to a piece that makes someone feel confident and unique—is pure magic. Every design becomes part of someone’s story.
What’s your design philosophy?
Fashion is storytelling. My designs blend artistic expression with timeless elegance, celebrating individuality. I believe in creating pieces that feel luxurious yet personal, with sustainability and thoughtful craftsmanship at the core.
What's your process for designing a new collection?
It starts with inspiration—art, culture, nature, or personal moments. I build mood boards, sketch concepts, and develop custom prints that echo the collection's story. Every detail is refined to balance bold statements and wearability, bringing the collection to life in a way that feels authentic and connected.
What's the most challenging aspect of being a fashion designer?
Balancing creativity with market demands is always a challenge. Staying innovative while ensuring designs are wearable and commercially viable takes careful thought. The fast pace of fashion, production pressures, and sharing deeply personal work can be tough—but that's what makes every success even more meaningful.
