Fundao is a thoughtful brand that utilizes organic materials to draw the natural world closer to women’s lives. The brand is inspired by how nature has, from the very beginning, been the source of human existence and how it’s always been meaningful to and intertwined with people’s lives. Finding inspiration from Mother Earth is a classic trend. This is because everyone can relate. It’s universal. Nature is also incredibly diverse; Fundao enjoys the endless ideas that can be drawn from the living world to create beautiful designs.

Mini Interview with Pimporn Ploadpliew

Where did you find your initial inspiration for creating fashion accessories?  
Growing up in the husting city, which is far away from hometown, make me miss the vibe of nature and ocean. I then try to introduce the precious pearls from Phuket where I am originally from, along with our nature inspired accessories to the public in order to make people feel more calm and closer to the nature.

What is the role of Mather Earth in your brands creative process?
Our bags use 20% natural materials or are inspired by the nature, so it is not just a collection of bags, but offering from nature. Because the natural world creates life, carrying one of these products will make you feel alive.

Which collection has been the most significant for you?
Our most iconic collection is Lady Mia which comes in 2 sizes, the mini and regular one. They come with crocodile-embossed leather and brass in a shiny finish along with our iconic crafted pearls straps which makes it looks luxurious but chic and well matched with every outfit.

What is your spirit animal?
It’s fox.
