What's your design philosophy?
Combining my personal emotions and empathy for customers, I transform them into novel, creative designs.
How do you handle criticism of your designs?
The world of fashion is constantly evolving, and there are many differing opinions, so I always consider criticism as an objective perspective that could potentially inspire a new idea. However, I have also learned to accept that it is impossible to please everyone. If a design aligns with my philosophy and vision, I will confidently stand by it.
What's your favorite fashion city?
If I had to choose, Paris would always be at the top of my list of favorites, especially in the autumn. This is when Paris truly shines, with refreshing breezes, changing hues of foliage, and refined fashions gracing not only the runways but the very streets themselves.
What's the most challenging aspect of being a fashion designer?
Unleashing creativity knows no bounds. I am always driven to create something novel, distinctive, and groundbreaking, which inherently means constantly challenging myself and never settling for complacency.
How do you handle the business side of fashion design?
Undertaking comprehensive market research and homing in on the target customer base. Additionally, I adopt a 30/70 strategy when executing collections, 70% dedicated to designs that cater to market trends and prospective customer needs, 30% allocated to fashion-forward designs and primary inspirations.
