How did you become interested in fashion design?
Since childhood, design has always been my greatest passion, guiding me toward studying Fine Arts. I pursued a degree in Fashion and Textile Design at university, where I had the opportunity to refine my skills and deepen my creative vision. Continuously improving myself in this field, expressing my creativity, and being part of the industry have always been powerful sources of motivation for me. The design process not only inspires me but also fuels my energy, allowing me to bring innovative ideas to life.
What's your favorite thing about being a fashion designer?
Being a designer has always been a source of great joy for me, as it allows me to create and bring ideas to life. The process of combining different materials to shape a unique form and transforming it into something functional excites me the most. Designing pieces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also wearable and practical gives me immense satisfaction. The ability to blend creativity with functionality and offer elegance in a usable form is what I love most about being a fashion designer.
What's your favorite material to work with?
After spending many years in the fashion industry, I decided to shift my focus toward accessory and jewelry design. For the past seven years, I have been managing my own jewelry brand, creating collections primarily using 925 sterling silver. In addition to silver, one of my favorite materials to work with is pearls. I love modernizing the elegance and timelessness of pearls to create unique and contemporary designs. The delicate beauty and versatility of this material always inspire me to push creative boundaries.
How important is sustainability in your designs?
Sustainability is a core value for both our brand and myself. It is essential for us to create our collections with a deep respect for nature, especially since many of our designs are inspired by it. We are committed to producing our pieces in an environmentally responsible way, ensuring that our materials and processes align with our mission to protect and preserve the natural world. For us, sustainability is not just a trend but a fundamental principle that guides every step of our design and production process.
What's the most sustainable material you've ever used in a design?
Most of the silver we use in our collections comes from recycled sources. At our brand, we embrace a zero-waste philosophy—there is no waste culture. All scrap and unused silver are melted down and repurposed into new designs, ensuring that every material finds new life in a sustainable way. This approach allows us to minimize our environmental impact while maintaining the quality and craftsmanship that define our brand.
