      Bold, unique and experimental: OTKUTYR Fashion House prides itself for being the first Saudi fashion house in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Founded by Razan Mussallam in 2011, OTKUTYR has cemented itself as a high-end brand, and as a hub for local and international brands and artists. Creating brands such as Turki Jadallah, creatively directing and producing for Alaa Hashim, to name a few. Renowned for its slow fashion ethos, and no waste policy; OTKUTYR was born out of a simple desire by its founder. To showcase the creativity and high quality of Saudi designers and local production on a regional and international scale.

      MINI INTERVIEW

      Where do you look for creative inspiration?
      I would say I’m a very intuitive person so my process is always feeling based. That being said: history, art, and social norms are topics that I find most interesting.  

      How would you describe OTKUTYR’s aesthetics?
      Subtle Rockstar (but I guess “subtle” depending on how you choose to style it).

      What is the biggest learning experience you have had?
      It’s okay to fail more than once; it’s not okay to give up.

      What song can you listen to on repeat?
      "The End" by The Doors.
